I did a little demo map called slope2.wad to show how to do sloped 3D floors. Just for giggles I also put in a rising/falling 3D floor using the floorandceiling specials in a script. However, I have since noticed that if you try and raise and lower one of the sloped sectors then it messes up.
In the above map, give the control/model sectors at the West end of the map tag 7 (which I think is the tag I gave to the normal rising/falling control sector) and you should see the slopes they correspond to getting messed up worse and worse every time the platform changes direction. Initially, the sloped 3D floors get thicker and thicker and then just disappear.
I tried giving the sloped control sectors and the slope height reference sectors tag 7 and I also tried just giving the sloped controls sectors the tag. The script works just fine with the normal, flat 3D floor but not the slopes. Should it be possible to move slopes in this way?
