[fixed] Disappearing models

Thread titles should be self explanatory.

In case you need some files to test this behaviour with, here are a few you can use:

http://nash.wanzafran.com/modeltest.zip

Though I'd recommend the first file though. Summon the flashlight model, then stand on the the centre of the flashlight, and look down completely. The model will disappear.

I second this. An awful bug indeed, but not fatal.

This bug is obviously annoying when you are standing on dead 3-d monsters.

I suppose it also defeats one of the main reasons that people want to include models.

I'm curious about that reason. For my TC, which is completely non-doom like models fit very well and I intend on making them an active part of the game, not an "omg modulz feature!!1". Indeed models don't fit in doom, they do in my project ;)

@Nash-I was actually testing a plaing 3d model-bridge I made and looking down indeed scared the shit out of me (it's a model, with invisible 3d floors making up the lacking colision).

All I meant was is that one of the "advantages" of models is that as your view changes you view the model from an appropriate angle - versus the much maligned "paper sprites" or leaning sprites of other ports. If you can't see the models from above, then a great deal of that reason has vanished - just like the model ;)
