MD3 Shaders

The MD3 format supports shaders. In what capacity does GZDoom support them?

GZDoom does not support Quake 3's MD3 shaders.
GZDoom can't even do alpha properly yet (only binary transparency supported, no translucency :/).
Apparently sorting the polygons with alpha is hard or something like that.
