3D Floor Splash problem

There seems to be 2 bugs with 3D floors and splashes.

1. When you have a 3D floor over a normal floor with terrain splashes, and you shoot the 3D floor, the Splashes appear on the 3D floor even though the 3D floor's floor texture isn't something that uses Terrain Splashes.

2. Something more minor, shooting 3D floor water rarely cause splashes, even when using a floor textures with terrain splashes.

1 should have been fixed a few weeks ago.
2. Welcome to Doom's physics code. I know it's not perfect and there's always situations that are not properly detected. Is this hitscans or projectiles - or both?

1. Certainly has been fixed Eriance, as of r118.

Rarely, or not at all? I don't remember 3-d liquids in GZDoom ever generating splashes because of a technical limitation... ?

Look at E1M2 in this test wad, it uses a 3D floor to make a pool, and it has splashes. (E1M1 is the same pool using transfer height instead.)

@Graf: Only hitscans

@Nash: Splashes only appear up to a certain distance away from the player it seems. And even then, it doesnt happen all the time.

Sorry Gez, I really meant to say that GZDoom doesn't generate splashes at all when shooting hitscans into 3-d liquids.

... and as expected, E1M2 of that WAD you posted has the same problem.

Eriance - I'm surprised you got them to show up at all. I've never been able to get them to ever show up since the very first release of GZDoom in 2005.
