[Hardware issue]An abundance of 3d Floors

Just testing gzdoom with a small single room wad I made for Legacy when I was bored (
See here for screen shots).
Basically using 3d floors to give the bookcase texture a bit more depth.
It runs fine in GZDoom, but after awhile it slows down and gets a bit jerky. Im assuming it's a memory leak, but thats only a guess - could be this pc. Legacy doesn't have a problem with it. It's got 30+ small 3d floors in it.
You can download the wad
here.

It would appear GZDoom doesn't run well with my graphics card. That will teach me for not experimenting before posting.

What kind of card do you have? The game should not get slower as time passes.

Just a crappy intergated SiS card. I'll lowered the resolution and it ran fine. My apologies for the useless thread

Sounds like texture thrashing. Yes, that can ruin the performance perfectly. Ho much graphics memory does your card have?

The worst type to ever have - 32mb Shared. Next time I'll use my machine with the Geforce in it
As a side note, have you noticed the topic review (visible when replying) is in the default colour style?

That's definitely not enough for higher resolutions.

You should clear your web cache.

Nothing to do with the cache, I came to these forums after you made changes - so nothing was in the cache for this site. At the very moment the entire boards have gone back to the light grey/blue style. Strange.

That's because Grubber changed it at BioHazard's request. If you want the original dark one, you need to go to your profile to change it.

Graf merely runs the GZDoom forum, he isn't the administrator for the entire DRD Team message board. In other words, It Wasn't Him (TM).
