Re: [You] tag
Unfortunately, Graf, that's a very thin blurry line. Signatures are actually quite new to the ZDoom community (though they may have existed before my tenure), though they've been on the Skulltag forum for some time now. However, I consider the Skulltag community to be somewhat separated, because while it does share some members with the ZDoom community, many members of either community do not visit the other.
Since there's like maybe 2 or 3 Skulltag-only members on this forum, at most, only 1 of which is currently active, the standard for signatures really has not yet been defined.
Because of this, I want to be as open as possible about it, and let people's reactions decide the rules. Your ideas are taken into consideration, but not exclusively. That being said, anyone who wishes to discuss this further is welcome to.

Re: [You] tag
I have not seen anyone here using a signature that would be potentially useful. It's either some more-or-less successful witticism or simply left empty.

Re: [You] tag
This sort of signature can be quite annoying (nothing personal, Pluck101, making a general comment here, and yours was an obvious example); it isn't the end of the world, but it feels the way one might feel if somebody spammed the board with an article full of leet-speek every other article, ju5t b3c4u5 th3y kn3w h0w.Pluck101 wrote:If MartinHowe is reading this, Congratuations! Eh, I'm still enjoying it, even if it is a bit slow, now.
I will say, though, this topic does feel really really old to me right now.
