Most people will be aware of this I suspect but for those who either haven't spotted it or who don't visit Doomworld, Perkristian has just released an update to his hi-res sound pack for Doom.

For those who don't know, this pack replaces almost all of the Doom sounds with very faithful sounding copies, many of which were pieced together from samples in the "Sound Ideas" sound effect library - the original source of many of the Doom sounds.

The sounds added for this update are:

* Imp idle
* Revenant missile launch
* Pain Elemental death
* Baby Spider walk

I've got these sounds on auto-load at the moment - makes it much more pleasant to listen to.

now i can use the extra added sounds in my skins folder (with a little pk3 editing)

Just tested it! All of the sounds are great the alt. death scream is my favorite!
