Dynamic lights on torches, projectiles e.t.c.

Post by citronvand »

I've tried several engines for Heretic and Hexen and I've noticed that the Doomsday Engine have very good dynamic lights that make torches, certain creatures, projectiles (such at ethereal crossbow bolts) glow. Looks very nice to be honest, I was wondering if it is possible to do the same thing with GZDoom? Might ask why I don't use DE instead if I want those features, well, DE is buggy as hell (crashes, can't go to secret levels, can go through certain walls e.t.c.) and it is impossible for me to finish Hexen on it.

Clearly you are using a BETA version - you should expect there to be a few problems. Try the stable 1.8.6 release instead.
