Coop/DM 3Dfloors issue

My map is named MAP01 - that indicates it was meant to be a Signle player map. I have set up spawn points for SP and MP aswell. The map works fine if I play it on Single Player, but if I start in Death Match for example, all the 3Dfloors (sloped and non-sloped), items disappear. Does it have to do something with the cvar settings of the game mode? Please help.

Are you using GZDoom or Skulltag for testing in death match? Skulltag does not display 3D floors in "competitive" game modes for a weird balance reason (3D floors aren't shown for those using the software renderer).
So if you use Skulltag, this is not a bug.

Yes. Sorry, I figured. It's actually pity, because it killed my whole Mod.

They could actually allow it. Dunno what they mean by "security threat". Like wall-hacks? I think Skulltag was resisting such hacks. Don't think there should be any kind of problem implementing 3DFloors to competetive modes. They just should make something like "sv_allow3Dfloors 1". That could solve the problem. And the wads could be flagged aswell "This wad has 3Dfloors".

Not a question of security, a question of balance. If some players can see where the 3D platforms are and others can't, there's an unbalance. If some players can see the others through a roof, there's an unbalance as well.
But this may change eventually: first because of
this, and secondly because of
that.

I believe that when the 3d floors in zdoom is finalized or something close, this may go into skulltag quickly which would also have 3d floors enabled in competitive game modes.

I think it's more of an "if" than a "when" at the moment...
