[1161] Texture dynamic lights have bad clipping

While your recent change may have fixed the HOM problem, now texture lights don't work properly anymore (it sorta looks like there's some nasty Z-fighting going on)... not sure if they're related, but I thought I'd just throw that in.
I really would LOVE to just use shader lights but I can't because dynamic light-heavy maps run like shit (<10 FPS) with shader lights on an ATI.

I really don't know why these problems always surface on ATI - and only on ATI. For me it works absolutely fine and I honestly have no idea what's wrong now.

Shader lights fix the problem, but they cause faces to flicker to black, so I can't use them.

OS: Windows XP
CPU: AMD Athlon II X3 440 Processor (3 core, ~3GHz)
RAM: 3328MB
GPU: ATI Radeon HD 5600 series (I believe it is a 5670 specifically)
EDIT: Also, note that the lights flicker on floors, but not on walls.

Completely off. When it's on, certain planes fail to move in accordance with the actual geometry, which has been touched on before.

I can confirm that this happened to me recently during a test; however, I did not thoroughly investigated it yet during that time.

I think this is fixed now but I need confirmation from an ATI user because NVidia doesn't show this problem.

Ah ok. Will try it when a binary appears on the SVN site.
However, even if you did fix it... it still doesn't satisfy me; I WANT to use shader lights.

Too bad performance sucks with shader lights.
Why oh why ATI are your drivers such a load of shit.

The problem is gone for me with build 1172 (HD 5870 / 10.12)
