Models are not affected by shadow below 3d floor

When placing a model under a 3d floor, it takes the same brightness as the normal sector.

Expected: The same behavior as sprites.

Yes, unfortunately this is a known limitation with models in GZDoom. :(

Incidentally, you can actually get the same effect with sprites if you switch on the XY billboarding option.
