One of the recent additions about 7-zip checking simply causes GZdoom to pull a "GZdoom.exe has stopped working" error box in windows 7, using the May 4 2014 build.

Fixed.
I already had a bad feeling when I saw that the code used stack based alloca buffers to convert its filenames. Turned out I was right.

Okay! Sweet! Will this be included in the new planned release for the angle/pitch changes too?

That site is dead because I have lost access to it thanks to my ISP screwing up. Look in the News forum.

Isn't this almost the exact reason you stopped hosting on DRDTeam?

No, the reason back then was uncertainty of its future.
The really annoying thing about the new site is that it's part of my DSL contract, yet these people somehow managed to screw up their FTP configuration so that it's impossible for me to log on, yet they persistently claim that everything is alright. Of course that doesn't help me. I can't get in anymore.
