Whenever I load GZDoom with my plantronics gamecom 780 headset plugged in, I get this error and the game switches to OpenAL. Which is good, previous versions i was out of luck when using headset. Sound system loads fine if i don't use the headset. I'm using windows 10 updated fully and my headset drivers are signed for 8.1 but have always worked correctly with everything so far (including ZDoom 2.71 and 2.8.0). Just wanted to report with this screenshot incase it helps in any way.

Also since i think I saw someone else report i'm not going to start new thread on it, but when i load gzdoom initially and switch to 1920x1080, the game ends up with a mouse cursor stuck in the center of the screen and won't work in menus any longer. The problem goes away if it quit and reload the game (though sometimes i'm left with a black screen after switching resolutions). Nvidia geforce 750 Ti with driver version 358.91

I can't do anything about the FMod error. 77 means 'too many channels', which is odd, considering that the software mixer should have no limit. Seems to be some general incompatibilty with that hardware.

The cursor thing is a duplicate, unfortunately something I never managed to reproduce, I have no idea what causes it to act badly on some systems.

Thanks for response, I am wondering why it works fine with ZDoom but not GZDoom. I also tried moving ZDoom's included fmodex.dll into the GZDoom directory but it failed the same. Figured it wouldn't work but worth a try :D.

Also through messing around i realized i only have the frozen cursor problem while using 'system cursor', if i use one of the graphical ones it doesn't seem to happen upon switching to a high resolution.

Ah, thanks for that bit of info. GZDoom was compiled with an older version of FModEx.

You may want to try a more recent devbuild you can find here on DRDTeam. AFAIK they are being built against newer versions.
Seems I'll have to upgrade after all...
