Highlighting problem in the save/load menu

When you use the arrow keys to select a save in a save/load menu it highlights to the save that was recently used, if there are none it'll be stuck on the first save or "new save game" part. I'm sure this isn't meant to happen because if it does then what's the point of being able to use the arrow keys to select saves?

Using the latest official release of 1x build GZDoom.

I can select any slot using keyboard without a problem. There can be some troubles if you are trying to select a slot using keyboard and moving mouse at the same time. Otherwise, have no idea. Could you please record a short video and post it somewhere?

The mouse wasn't moving whenever I try to use the keyboard to select a save.

And it appears it's not just the save menu itself; even on the main menu it happens.

I'll try to make a video later but i'll try to explain what's going on. Let's say you're on the main menu. Pressing down would highlight new game right? Well, you can highlight other selections as long as it doesn't take three seconds or lower. After a little while, the highlight vanishes and you're back from the top again.

In that case you do have a problem with the mouse. You'll have to change it to 'off' or 'touchscreen-like' in the mouse options.

Don't blame me, I prefer touchscreen-like myself, but some people insisted on having the full mouse control the default.

Thank you! So that wasn't a bug after all. If only I knew about that option even back then..

Wow, I didn't even know touchscreen-like existed. I had always turned it off because I hated the way it worked before.

Thank you for mentioning that.
