3D floor type/flag

To make it work like an 'impassible' line rather than a 'block all' line.

As useful as this could be, the 3d floors function as additional solid floors. You can't shoot through normal floors, so you can't shoot through solid 3d floors. You can, however, make 3d floors in the shape of bars or what have you.

This would be useful - so you could make a 3D floor with a grate texture of some kind, be able to walk on it but be able to shoot through it just like a 2S wall with a grate/bars texture on it and the impassable flag set - yes?

If you really want 3d bars as a floor, draw them in the editor. It'll look better anyways to have them in 3d instead of as textures.

Not practical if you want to use a fine mesh texture like many walkways in industrial plants are made of.

This will have to wait until I get a working floating point version of ZDoom. I am not going to rewrite the existing code to support this.

Does sound like a good idea.

Though I can imagine it would look and feel weird to be able to shoot rockets or plasma bolts through the floor under me...

I know I wouldn't be often firing rockets beneath me! Although, I was just thinking about this feature about a week ago.
