[cannot fix]Model skins

I set up models for the spawn states of the weapons in my project and one of them doesn't work. But the same model using a different skin does work :?

Well, I don't know why this worked, but it did. All I did was extract the skin, open it in PSP and then resave it. Doing so decreased the file size slightly from 20,217 bytes to 19,965 bytes. I stuck it back in the zip and the skin now works. :dunno:

I'd need to see the model and both skins - the working one and the non-working one to do anything about it.

If you DL the file, then load it and go find a rocket launcher, you'll see the non working one (I just went and looked at the one in the secret on MAP01). Then, as I said, I simply extracted, saved and rezipped the skin PCX and the non-working one became a working one.

DevIL can't read the picture. This is something I can't fix. DevIL has to fix it.

Summon "RocketLauncher" and "ParticleBombLauncher".

Hmmm... I will try resaving it with a different program. The model skins I saved with most graphic editors didn't work, but the ones I saved with Wally were fine.

For info, I used Paint Shop Pro 7.04 and saved the PCX at whatever the default PSP options for PCX files are.
