So many resources... so little time.

Great job, Chronoteeth and Marty! This gun has earned a spot in my mod for sure...

Damn, I should get one of those development journals started, shouldn't I?

I didn't put hands on the model due to the fact that it wouldn't be a good job (And also at least because it makes it easier to edit to something else) The reload animation has 6 frames, and the firing has 3 (It's just the gun going back and the drum rotating a bit) I would of added draw/holster graphics as well but the animations for that were simply the gun rising/ducking so it would of been a waste. I included a pickup and an ammo sprite as well. Hopefully it's useful to someone 8)

Fileplanet's the only place that has it, but I'm pretty sure he got that GL pic from the website (http://www.geocities.com/jstanf35) rather than the actual mod (at least, I had a horrible looking grey thing in the actual mod for the RPG in that)

I tried to get it last night but FP asked me to wait 67 minutes. Too long to have that silly little ad-window refreshing in the background. I'll maybe try again some other time. :(

I wouldn't bother - it's not really that special (at least, I'm working on a much better version of it heh)

Cool. do you know if it's still possible to get the Duke Plutonium Pack and Atomic editions (or whatever they were called)? I don't have them and a lot of TCs seem to need them. I have looked, but the usual places weren't selling them when I tried.

as for the plutonium pak, 3DRealms has discontinued it. now about the atomic edition, well, check the 3drealms web site. i believe they still sell it. keep in mind that the plutonium pak and the atomic edition are the same thing. except for this:

Plutonium Pak = V1.4

Atomic Edition = V1.5

Apart from the 3DR site, I'm not aware of any sadly (I'm guessing you've checked Amazon or a similar site) :(

EDIT: However, if you download Jonof's port I think you still might be able to play a few Atomic Edition TCs on Duke3D V1.3 (I'm assuming you've got that) depending on how much they replace (if they have lots of new stuff than you might be able to try it)

I'd tried the 3DR site before, but the process failed at some point (I forget the details). I'll try again though. I had checked Amazon etc. It's all strategy guides and Duke games for other platforms. :(

I hadn't realised the Atomic edition was effectively a newr edition of Plutonium. Useful to know.

[edit]Heh, I just checked Amazon again. One copy of Atomic edition being sold by a third party - and because it is so "rare" they are asking almost £50/$90. I want it, but I'm not desperate. [/edit]

Yeah some of the used stuff on Amazon goes for ridiculous price, but they're kidding themselves if they think somebody will fork over the cash (The Quake trilogy goes for like £60 there but I saw it in a gamestore for only £10)

I just DLed the mod, and I realised none of the weapons in the mod look like the ones shown in the weapons screenshot area in your journal. Do you know where they went?
