[duplicate]Corrupted display of 3D Floors

Post by MartinHowe »

In the map I am working on at the moment, I have several 3D floors, one of which involves putting a "lid" on a "box". The floor is type 1 (solid) and uses the lower textures below with no light effects (flags 33), and solid to view (255). On the "lid"part, the texture being inherited is corrupted and seems to consist of two or three squished copies of itself. At the very top, some of the control sector's walls (ASHWALL3) shows through. The latter effect dissapears if I cut out huge parts of the map, but the top part is still squished.

Main problem:

If large areas of the map are cut out (excuse the red mist, I was being killed):

What it should look like. To get this I had to delete almost all of the map and remove the scripts, animdefs lumps and suchlike.

Has anybody seen anything like this before? Changing the OpenGL speed setting to "QUALITY" instead has no effect.

You mean the screwed up texture? That has already been fixed for the next version.
