This is bullcrap. The guy must be using some older version. Last time I checked it ran very fine. Update to latest version

I actually get that same error too while trying to play RTC-3057: Blue yesterday. :/

Open the WAD with XWE, search for DECORATE and rename 'pistol' to something else. Actor names are no longer case sensitive and this item clashes with the internal pistol.

This issue won't be reverted. The WAD has to be fixed.
