Fraggle Scipt in ZDOOM Hexen format

Post by Syfo-Dyas »

Is this possible? Can I use Fraggle script even though I'm mapping in ZDOOM Hexen format?

Yes. Just make sure the map header is empty

It is possible but the FS line special is undocumented. If there is sufficient interest I can officially define it though.

Oh k, well I'll screw around tonight and see how you convert this crap over to HEXEN format, if I have issues, I'll write back.

P.S. Will this work in conjunction with ACS, or rather I mean will it work along side of ACS?

Sure. I have used FS several times on top of WADs with ACS to make some simple adjustments.

This should most definetly be done. I've been wondering if this was ever going to happen.

I was hoping for Legacy making faster progress. But the time their 2.0 version takes is truly unbelievable.

What about the time Randy took to make 2.0.90 and 2.1.0? :P

2.0.90 was 8 months, not counting .63a
2.1.0 was 6 months but .96x was available long before that.

Legacy 2.0 is 2.5 years without any real update - and the code is still in beta development.
At the time Legacy 1.42 was released the current ZDoom version was 2.0.63.

I would expect ZDoom to have polymost before Legacy 2 is out. What about the time its taken to implement polymost?
