[1.0.21] Line horizon doesn't render

Post by Osiris »

When I use the special line no. 9 "Line Horizon", it doesn't render as it should in OpenGL, it just renders a wall. In Software mode however, it works just fine. What's going on?

It looks as though you don't have a stencil buffer (at least, I think that's what GZDoom uses to render the horizon effect)

What is your video card?

My video card is an ATI Radeon 9600 XT. This worked with GZDoom 1.0.20 though.

Works for me, too so something about your video configuration must be at fault.

It seems it was because I was running it in a window. My computer just doesn't like GZDoom in a window.

Window + 16bit desktop mode normally means that many extensions that only exist for 32 bit surfaces are not accessible,

So osiris change your dekstop to 32bit or change your window resolution in gzdoom to 32bit it should fix the problem
