Post by Birdy »

Hey guys,

um.. I don't know how else to say this but, I've been Playing GZDoom for a
long time now but i don't know how to make doors, I have done it before with
the original but not with GZDoom. I can't seem to get it to work!.

So heres my question: HOW DO YOU MAKE A DOOR WORK?!

how do i send it to you guys?

P.S: I'm making this map for tests (hence the monsters and switches)

I'm too busy at work to post some simple pics as a tutorial at the moment, but if you want to upload an example. Just click on that BROWSE button to upload your example.

You'll see the browse button if you scroll down on that page when you are making posts.

1.
You did not mention, which editor you use. So I assume, you are using Doombuilder.
Go to the ZDOOM Wiki.
Go to the section called Tutorials.
Click on the link for Dr Sleep.
Download the Doombuilder Guide, the pdf version.
Go to page 81.
Find a step by step explanation on how to construct a door.

2.
However, if you are using Deepsea, construct the sectors, then click on Misc, then Make a DOOR from Sector
