Shut up is not acceptable language on whole DRDteam forum so calm down!Graf Zahl wrote:Too bad that this thread has degenerated into a shitfest...
@Jive: Calm down! Your aggressive style of posting doesn't help matters. And don't try to order people around. 'Shut up' is not acceptable language on this forum.

Dunno what's up with you again dude. We stressed this out long time ago. Please don't tell people to shut up. That goes triple for freakin' DRDTEAM members.Jive wrote:wildweasel, please, do me a favor: shut up!
Not true. Even if someone tells you to stop, it's your choice wether to listen or not. Free expression IS present on my forums.Jive wrote:Plus, the right to a free expression is absolutely NOT existing here...
This is not the first time a hot discussion arises (and I don't mean chicks) because Jive started overusing the exclamation mark. Sorry to say this, but please calm down or we'll have to wave ourselves goodbye.

Ok I'm not an decorate guru but I liked what you did to the archvile so far I can see you still have to fix his melee attack frames.You might want to make it look different than the original archvile recolor it or someting maybe give it wings or horns.Or an floating archvile like the afrit from the mrw.
I liked that attack when the flames move along the floor, maybe you could ask Ezxariarch for the diablo2 sprites.

About Dynamic Lights this time!
||
I need to make a Sector Light following that "thing". As i saw, the Dynamic Lights never respect the gravity to be possible define Z heights. Ok!
But, i've been thinking to edit the Dynamic Light via DECORATE, Something like this:
Actor xxx : xxx Replaces xxx
-NOGRAVITY
{
Defs
}
I dunno if that is possible anyway, the fact is, i can find the original DECORATE of the Dynamic Lights!
What i can do? Some idea?

I recently had a need to have a dynamic light that moved up and down with a platform - and I've only just thought of a possible solution: define a new invisible DECORATE actor - with the properties you want and then allocate a dynamic light to it with GLDEFS. I think you might have to use a real invisible sprite rather than TNT1A0 because TNT1A0 has some special properties associated with it (like never being rendered IIRC) which may, or may not, affect dynamic lights associated with it for any particular actor.

Right! I did and work!
But i still with one more problem. That "Platform" after came to up must come back to down. Exactly this moment the "Thing" and the Light down too, and a bit more slowly ( F...king GRAVITY ).
BTW, i neede to work with Ceiling AND Floor_LowerToLowest (TAG ,9999); be cause the Floor OR Ceiling_LowerInstant doesn't work as well!
So, how can i fix that? If you undertood what i'm trying to say, of course! =P
