I tried to made a modeldef lump for a Vavoom md2 pack to run it with GZDoom. All the models work "nice", but there's an oddish texture issue with a couple (6-7) of decoration items: Their textures appear in *black and white* in GZdoom. Those textures are in PCX format, but many other models with PCXs work without any problems.

If you look at the troubled items, the textures are correctly positioned etc. - only the textures are in b/w. It looks like this occures with GZDoom 1.0.22 and -21, but with an older 1.0.18 all the textures work nice.
Or did I just do somehing wrong? (the def lumps are pretty messy) See:

Just run it with the Vavoom Doom/Doom2 model pack:
gzdoom.exe -file vmdl_doom_13-1.zip md_defs.zip
(Vavoom:)

(btw - is there any way to get Spectre's fuzzy outlook with models? It's model appears now as solid as any regular Demon. And there's no hud weapons. Wonder how those should be done then?)
model texture (pcx) trouble

Zipped the troubled pcxs (with the md2s) here:
http://www.geocities.com/gearlost/misc3/md_xxx.zip
Tall Green pillar
Tall Red pillar
red pillar with skull
ColonGibs
SmallBloodPool
Gibs (+ crushed gibs)
tall techlamp
Those pcxs doesn't work properly with any other models either. But other pcxs/pngs display the correct colours with those same seven models.
The JDoom jDRP pack's (older) pcxs seem to have even more often these b/w troubles in GZdoom.

We have noticed the problems with the format of these resources when loaded in Doomsday but we just work things out so they do.
They were created a long long time ago before jDRP. Cheb created them in some obscure image editor I can't even remember. I never bothered to fix them as the models and skins have all been replaced in later versions of jDRP.
BTW: I don't take kindly to people ripping stuff without asking. Since Cheb is no longer involved and I am the current maintainer of the pack, you should have asked me if you could use them.

I'm sorry. That's completely and only my fault. No one else's. I should have realize that the models and graphics *are* rightful property of their creators and maintainers. My fault. I apologise for the troubles.
