GZdoom 1.0.22 2.1.7 r434m Using doom.wad
OK, I'm not completely sure about this one, but this is how it seemed. Yesterday and today I was playing through Episode1 and 2. It seemed to me that sometimes monsters were not waking up as quickly as they should when I encountered them. I *think* it may have been after I had found a blur sphere - but the effect was noticable long after the sphere should have worn off. It seemed as if the monsters were waking up using the (zdoom specific) rules that apply when the sphere is active.
I'm not sure exactly what those rules are, but I know it makes the enemies less likely to wake up until the player makes a sound or something. The full effect of the sphere did not seem to persist. ie, monsters targetted me normally after the sphere had run out. However, it was certainly my impression that they were not as alert as they should have been.
Possible monster alertness problem
