It seems I insta-crash whenever I comment out my autoload list and double-click (or "Open with GZDoom") on any of the following:
Hideous Destructor
GZDoom Advanced
The Stranger
Zen Dynamics
Ultimate Torment & Torture
Demon Wars
lights.wad
EDIT: Doom Enhanced
While the following are fine:
Zero Tolerance
Doom Reloaded
KDIZD
Turbocharged Arcade (demo)
Nashgore
Diaz (new, in-development version)
A quick check of the wads shows that all the ones in the first list have DOOMDEFS or GLDEFS lumps and the ones in the second list do not. I can't think of any other commonality with the first list, especially given lights.wad.
Putting the files into zips seems to avert the problem, but only if I do not, say, put the wad's text file in the zip as well.
Not encountered in any previous version, nor the current ZDoom SVN.
EDIT: I just tried removing the DOOMDEFS lump from Hideous Destructor and Doom Enhanced. No crash at all. Same story with Stranger, but renaming GLDEFS.wad in UTNT gives me some error message.

Strangely enough, I tried it this morning and HD works, but Doom Enhanced doesn't, so it doesn't seem to happen all the time.Graf Zahl wrote:Ugh...
That was a stupid bug. Too bad that I don't get the crash for some reason or I would have noticed earlier...
So... would a patch/new binary be available anytime soon?
