I was trying to play GZDoom multiplayer with my brother and it lagged every so often which doesn't bother me, but then it just stopped all together.
When it freezes, I can still look around with the mouse, pressing the console key stops me from looking around but no console pops down and the menu works, only that skull isn't animated and there's no arrow on the options menu.
I've tried switching hosts, playing with just doom2.wad, I even tried two seperate computers all together (completely different systems) and it still lags -though they're all running Windows Vista, I never tried multiplayer GZDoom with XP.
I've tried version 1.0.29 all the way back to 1.0.24, they both have the same propblems...
We use a wireless router so that must be the problem so I switched to another router and still no luck. No olne else has this problem do they?

Yes, I have that problem too. It's annoying as hell. The only way to get out of it is to make the ultimate sacrifice - one of the players must leave the game. That's what happened today. I was playing with my brother and my friend and it just froze. Then my brother decided to quit and everything resumed. But next time my friend and I won't be so lucky when we continue from the saved game. Soon either of us will have to leave when it freezes then, so it will be reduced to none other than single player mode. I also use a wireless router when playing a multiplayer game with my brother. I played on Windows XP. I host and he joins at my IP address. I'm glad someone else experiences it too and has already posted a bug report.

I tried ZDoom and it worked ok, no lag at all. Though this was just with Doom2.wad where as with GZDoom everything was custom. Though my PCs gone through a load of problems lately, one being my GPU almost dying! Anyways, I've had to reinstall some updated drivers so I'm gonna test out GZDoom again... SkullTag works fine except for having no hosting support for windows vista. My point is, it might have something to do with multiplayer mods.
