GZdoom fails to start up due to resolution problem.

Every time I try to begin gzdoom.exe, it gives me a fatal error:

Execution could not continue.
Could not set resolution to 640 x 480 x 8

First you need to post your hardware specifications.

What information exactly do you need to know?

(I don't mind how long this may take to fix by the way, any help is much appreciated.)

Graphics card, driver version, CPU, OS, RAM would do for starters.
