Convert Legacy maps to GZDoom?

I have a set of maps for Doom Legacy that I want to switch over to GZDoom to take advantage of all its extra features.

However, I haven't the faintest idea where to start. The wad uses a lot of DeHackEd to make new enemies, and is very, VERY, FraggleScript heavy on some maps.

Any and all advice you can give would be greatly appreciated. (And if you do all the work for me, that would be nice, too. ;) )

In other words, you are converting The Ultimate Chex Quest.
