Okay, seriously - I know you really, really want this. But must you keep badgering the poor guy about it every few hours? Keep in mind that what Chupa is doing is a free service, thus he is not even obligated to help you. The fact that he's doing so now is out of the goodness of his heart and not for any sort of binding contract or paid agreement. So please, show a little more patience.

Re: RDDR: Huge 3D Additions for GZDoom
Ok seems to work fine with the latest GZDoom which is included in the RDDR v1.6 download, though it seems to cry about missing actors, etc but that's because parts are RDDR are incomplete at the minute, but most features should work fine.
RDoom v3.2 is uploaded as well, remember that you can't use RDoom without RDD and that it should be extracted into the Reaver Dragon Doom will all the RDDR files which is provided in the RDDR v1.6 download.

Sorry about the wait, all there now though. Not sure if I'll be updating RDDR for a while however, struggling to find the time these days but this project is not finished/abandoned.

Hmm I can't seem to download it... After a certain point it will just stop completely and say it is done when really there isn't much in the rar.

The issue here is the fact that you're using those free hosts. They don't work worth crap.

http://www.mediafire.com/
that works
i have had files for years on there, and nothing happened to them
and it has no wait time, fast uploads (as fast as your ISP lets you), unlimited space, upload 100mb stuff at a time though, ability to hide stuff from everyone else.
oh, and before i download it again, if i can...
Does this mod have random spawners and keyconf for all weapons?

Re: RDDR: Huge 3D Additions for GZDoom
No random spawners, but it usesa weaponset keyconfig system. There're that many weapons, having them all assigned to 1-0 at once would be impossible because there's a limit to I think 5 weapons per slot, if not having near 100 weapons all set would making finding the right weapon really hard, so I've created multiple weaponset which can be changed using custom controls. It's important that you set these controls or you wont be able to use any of the weapons, etc.
And I'll have a look around for a free host that works right, I can't pay for one atm. Hmm media fire only holds up to 100mb free, but I could try splitting my files into pieces as they are about 700mb each, this way the downloads will be split so if they're interrupted you don't have to redownload as much, etc.

700mb?
well, there is a way to make it smaller.
1: remove the game engines
2: remove the hires textures
3: remove the high quality music
4: resize all the skins for the models to 256x256
it would be easier if you put them all into 1 pk3 aswell, so we dont have to mess around with trying to get it to work in our doom dir.

I disagree, ds201 - those things are put in for a reason. I think it's better to offer it in pieces, such as high res textures in one pack, models in another, etc.
Just because you don't want them doesn't mean other people won't.

Re: RDDR: Huge 3D Additions for GZDoom
i never said to forget about them.
i don't have hires stuff and HQ stuff in my model pack, it only has models and a dehacked fix for them (doesn't affect the game)
all my HQ music is in s separate pk3 spanning about 450mb, while the hires stuff i have is in yet another pk3
so, it is best to release it as separate, even the separate ones for gz and st

Re: RDDR: Huge 3D Additions for GZDoom
The model skins are over 256 x 256 so that my models look detailed and the hi res textures are necessary for the games I'm making with this pack (RDoom) plus this isn't just a model pack and not really a replacement pack for classic doom, it is meant for people to use so they can make their own work from scratch. There is no music in the RDDR pack, but ambient sounds and sound effects are included which along with the textures and skins all add up to make 700 mb, decreasing this would lose the quality, blurry models are not good lol, when I walk right up to an Arachnotron I want to see those tiny little bits in their brains, not a blur! But I could separate it so that the ambient sounds and the textures are seperate but it would still be too large and the files can't be split any further due to scripts calling other scripts, etc.
However I will try and split the rar archive into seven or eight bits, or something like that.
But yea, there's no way am shrinking my 1024 x 1024 textures which I spent time detailing back down to their original 256 x 256 size, it makes my detailing work on the skins pointless lol. Gah maybe I'll end up buying my own domain and hosting the files alongside my website all together eventually...
