Hi, when I play gzdoom, in console there are some bad scope errors, so here is the logfile done with +logfile:

See my sticky thread about driver versions. It's a bug in older NVidia drivers that has been fixed already.

I've checked the nvidia site, and the driver version results to be up to date. Am i lost?

Which driver version do you have installed? ie, find out by actually checking your machine. I've found that the nVidia update tool can be a bit flakey at times. In the past it has reported my driver version incorrectly and even once told me that I was using Linux (which I'm not) and started downloading the Linux drivers.

I have the 186.81 version. I've checked both automatic scan and manual search. It's the same.
Edit: this is a notebook, and the funny thing is that i've bought it one year ago.

Well, the current driver version is 191.07. Your version goes back to June, I think, wheras 191.07 is from October.

Not sure why the manual version of the nVidia site isn't giving you the latest update. What is your OS? The card is a GeForce 8400M right?


[edit] Hmmm, you may be out of luck. When I select the 8M series, I get offered the same driver as you. I notice, however, that they have just released 195.62 for my card so I guess I'll be downloading that soon. [/edit]

For the Geforce 8M series you may have to check the beta drivers. The latest one is 12 days old.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience but this is clearly a confirmed driver bug I can't do much about.
