Bug of the HOM (Hall OF Mirrors)

Post by code_zeroJR »

hi again people

this time i will post a bug that i found in a WAD called Knee-Deep In ZDoom
first one is about a bug that it seems like HOM (Hall OF Mirrors), here is a image:
this left one is fine and the other one has the half HOM

i know this is a SCREENSHOT. if anyone played this WAD, you will notice in the area where has two pillar like in the image: the left pillar "runs" fine as a power. but the right one has a half HOM.

special EDIT: this is just a information to share with others users to experience with GZDoom /Zdoom problems or bugs.

ENJOY DOOMING!! :chaingun: :bfg:

Lesson one for posting useful bug reports:

1. Screenshots are useless without further information.
2. Which level?
3. What position (Typing IDMYPOS before making a screenshot works wonders!)
4. Even better would be a savegame so that I can have a look myself.

That said, I can't see anything wrong in your screenshot so unless you help me out I'll close this report.

And it didn't occur to you that it would be more useful if you showed the one with a problem, rather than the one that works fine?

Yes. We know that, too.

I reckon it's Z1M3 position -4470, -3640, but I don't see anything wrong.

probably i used to play in the ZDoom port.
when i played on GZDoom, i went to this area with two pillar running as power in the position you mentioned, i noticed that both are fine. so: Zdoom has many bugs.
