At least now you can see I was not fooling around, I just didn't know how to put in a screenshot. I still not pretty sure how you do it, but
thankfully you people know how to correct the screenshots.

Aha! I know what is going on here (in CAH at least). The upper part of the building is a portal view.
This is what I get in the play area:

But if I noclip into the portal, fire at the wall, freeze the game then clip back, I get this:

[edit] and, as expected, TCotD2 is also a portal.[/edit]
(oh and Barry, when you use tinypic, just use the last box and put it inside IMG tags

Hm. Apparently I still had the first version of this mod which didn't have the portal in place (which looks awful with dynamic lights...)
