[fixed]Problem with Subtractive lights

Post by Caligari_87 »

I just barely got to fool around with GZDoom the other day, and i realized that adding any sort of subtractive light gave me an entirely blank screen, unless I looked totally away from the affected area. Why is this, and how can I use these lights correctly?

This appears to be a bug. I will have to look into it.

Light that darkens the surrounding area instead of brightening it.

Same problem here. I get an entirely black screen.

Luckily I have the console command "quit" binded to F12, otherwise it's be a wild guessing game trying to get out of the situation.

Just hit F10, Y. I've been doing that since Vanilla ;)

Or if your F10 key is somehow broken... Escape, Up, Enter, Y.

The only time these don't work at all is when you make a DECORATE gun lock up ZDoom. Thne you have to kill it with task manager, and without the mouse. o_O

BTW, I think F10 on my keyboard is reserved for expansion of my Co-op chat macros.

Fixed.

And I have to say that subtractive light looks much better than I ever anticipated.
