Hi,
I've been having a problem, since at least r1128 (possibly earlier): if I start a new game (heretic, for example) and move the mouse, the view periodically jumps a bit. It's not quite the same as when I move the mouse or press a key. One moment the cross-hairs are pointing at a spot on the wall, the next moment they're pointing 5 cm above the spot (that's just a number I pulled out of my ass). This happens every 5 seconds or so. Eventually, I end up looking at the sky. It doesn't matter if I stand still or move around. The direction isn't always the same, sometimes it's upward, sometimes it's downward and to the right, etc. Everything is fine until I move the mouse, moving around with only the keyboard doesn't trigger this problem.

This sounds like your mouse is sending movement info while it's not moving.

That can't be, the cursor doesn't move like that outside the game.Graf Zahl wrote:This sounds like your mouse is sending movement info while it's not moving.
I'll test some older release, see which is the first to have this problem.
