[r????] - Maximized window issue

Post by Blue Shadow »

When running GZDoom with the hardware renderer in windowed mode and it being maximized I get this...
Spoiler:
However, with the software renderer, everything is fine.

The maximize button should never have been active so it's disabled now.

So you mean GZDoom doesn't support this like ZDoom does?

No. Too much work to make it glitch free.

Well, there goes the only way I had to keep the entire client area (1280x800) onscreen (1280x1024), short of dragging it over every time. :(

Sure it doesn't look "right", but I never saw that it hurt anything like that. :?

Sorry about that. I wouldn't have known that it'll end up like this otherwise I wouldn't have reported it.

Eh, I posted a topic on the same thing ages ago and it was left alone (presumably on the "at least it works at all" principle, which was fine with me).

But chances of this being looked at again, much less reconsidered, are close to zero. :?
