Up to 4 recursions are supported. The thing you have to look for is that each mirror requires a complete rendering pass so the more there are the slower the game gets.

Technical reasons means that it doesn't work. I could explain the reasons in detail but most of the readers here wouldn't understand them.

Some day in the future it may be possible to make reflective 3D-floors but due to the way Doom's visibility clipping works it is not possible to to proper reflective slopes.
