Map Crashing?

Hey guys, big fan of Brutal Doom, I'm currently running version 0.18 which I'm fairly sure is the latest version. Anyway I beat level 23, went to exit to level 24 "The Chasm" and the game crashed after the level summary screen was shown. The game also crashed when I used cheats to warp to level 24 and even the same thing with level 25! It managed to run level 26 ok but not far into level 27 it crashes as well! Anyone experience the same issues as this or know how to fix it? Thanks for any advice

The latest official version of Brutal Doom is 19, not 18. So try updating to that, and also try the latest development build of GZDoom, and see if you can reproduce the crash. If you can, then post the crash report here so a developer can take a look at it in order to determine what the problem could be.

Thanks for the help! I downloaded the latest Git build of GZdoom (27th of December I believe) although I have trouble getting the latest version of Brutal Doom (which I also downloaded) to run on the latest build, as it continues to run on the old build. Any hints on how to get around this?

How are you loading Brutal Doom with GZDoom? Are you using launchers or somesuch? Maybe you forgot to configure them to use the latest GZDoom build? (I'm just making assumptions here. I personally have no experience with launchers, as I don't use them myself)

Yeah I'm just using launchers I THINK, I got BD off my mate who got it off his mate who set up the installer so it basically did it all for you, so there's the installer on my desktop, then the link to BD 18 which goes off GZdoom 1.8, and BD 19 which also launches off of 1.8, when I launch GZdoom 1.9 the only WAD files it can find are that of Hexen and Heretic, other games I have on steam, for some reason none of the other Doom files will come up :/
