- GZDoom 2.1.1 x64 fresh extraction to a clean folder
- dropping in unmodified doom2.wad
- running as administrator
- Windows 10 Pro x64 10586
- Core i7-4790K
- Radeon R9 290X with ASUS VG248QE (primary)
- Intel HD 4600 with two monitors connected (secondary)
- all drivers latest non-beta versions as of this posting
- no overclocking
Actual behavior: GZdoom attempts to set the mode on one or both secondary monitors (both flash briefly) and then immediately crashes.
Steps to reproduce: Launch gzdoom.exe.
Troubleshooting notes: I found that if I disable the secondary displays or the primary display, the game starts up just fine. To be clear, it starts up fine in multi-monitor mode, as long as I am only using the one graphics adapter (it works fine -- at over 400 fps! -- on Intel HD 4600.)
