I was playing through the prision level. I have a save game at the exact location the "bug" occours. Load the game WTF and press use. You will get a dialog from a prisioner. Do you see one? I shure as hell don't. (Latest version I downloaded is .20 I think, its the latest in the forum thread as of this post date.
It appears that you have to step around a bit in that area, keep turning and moving and hitting use rapidly. Eventually, you will get the dialog of a prisioner. He is in the area less then 1 foot from you. Try it and see the maricle of an invisible prisioner. Now, if all the other prisioners could turn invisible, they just could have walked out!
Also another bug. I have autoexec's for all games, saving doom saves in a dir, saving heretic saves in another dir, etc...
If you type save WTF, as I did at this point in the bug, the save is GZDOOM folder, not the strife folder. The autosaves are in the right folder though. Strangly enough, the program knows WTF is in the saved game list.

Not to mention, you can shoot the prisioers behind the forcefields, but i think thats intented behaviour.Graf Zahl wrote:Nice find. THat's a design error in ZDoom's use traversal code. It only checks lines up to 64 units but usable actors up to 128 units. Any line beyond 64 units is never checked even though it is closed you can talk to the prisoner behind the door.
/me runs and kills all the prisioners and sees if i can still pass mission
