3-D floor color problem

Post by DoomGuy »

I am not sure if this is a bug or something I am doing wrong, but occasionally I get a dark (255) blue colored sector right below the 3-D floor I have created. This usually happens when I create one 3-D floor over another. I have not set any colors for any sectors and have tried setting the different 'flags' to no avail. Most of the time the color is dark blue but occasionally it has been dark green and a couple of times it was dark red. I am not sure why it is doing this. Any one experience this before? Any suggestions? Thanks!

I'm guessing screenshots would help.

The map itself would be even better. ;)

Thanks for your responses. :? I am not sure what happened, but when I copied the part of the level where I had the 'color' problem, to a new map (for uploading), the colors disappeared! The map worked the same but the blue and green colors were gone. So I deleted the affected part of my full level and copied the sectors back into it and the colored sectors were not there. I don't know what might have caused it in the first place, but it's gone now. If it happens again, I'll cut and paste the affected area to a new map, delete the affected areas and paste t hem back in from the new map. Anyway, the problem is gone!
