While working with friendly monsters in a level of mine, I found that they have an annoying tendency to accidentally wipe each other out as they rush to kill some monster. To address this problem, I suggest the implementation of a special "smart" monster ai (set by a flag) to make the monsters with the flag avoid shooting through other monsters on the same team, similar to what friendly monsters already do when the player gets between them and their target. This would be immensely useful in creating monsters (such as marines) which the creator does not want to accidentally kill each other.
