WATER / WATER2 Shaders for Sprites?
Just an idea I had a few moments ago: What about the possibility to add the WATER / WATER2 shaders to sprites?

It's something to do with the way the warping algorithm works that makes it incompatible with non-power-of-two graphics. If I remember right, Graf once said that fixing this would be extremely difficult.
If you want to work around that, though, you could always pad some empty space onto your sprites so that they are perfectly square and follow the power-of-two standard.
