Precaching hi res. skybox textures

Well, actually this is not a bug, but taking attention to it will be quite useful!

So, here's the situation: I've imported 6 high resolution (1024x1024 / high color PNG) textures into my wad. Everything is fine, everithing is working. But! Engine loads them only when I'm looking at sky, no matter what side -- it loads all of them. And this takes aprox. 6 seconds on my GeForce FX 5200. This is terribe for gameplay :( I've tryied to set "Precache GL textures" in OpenGL options, but it does not help.

All skybox texters placed in .pk3 file, ofcurse.

So, maybe you make solution/fix how to make this textures load to memory when map is loading (instead of loading when player see them)?

My PC conf is: P3-800 MHz, 650 Mb. RAM, GeForce FX 5200, Windows XP sp2.
