Zanzan crash problem

I was playing Paul's GZdoom modified Zanzan and kept getting a crash on the boss map. I think the copy I had on my HD was one of the earlier versions. Every time I got to map03, GZdoom would just crash.
I DL'd the idgames version and it was better. I could get to map03 and kill the boss, but then the game crashed.
