Glowing Flats Related Request

Post by StrikerMan780 »

I just recently thought of a way to make it so you can Define Colors and attributes to Glowing flats, instead of the current way that just uses the normalized average color on the flat it applies to.

It goes like this:

Code: Select all

glowingflat LAVA1
{
	color "FF A0 00"
	Intensity 0.8 // (Ranges from 0 to 1, floating point.)
}

If this could be implemented, I would be the happiest guy here. :D Oh, and by the way, for the love of god; Fix Glowing Flats on Sloped Walls! The bugs ruin the atmosphere of a map of mine due to the fact I need to remove glow to prevent the bugs in the first place! O_o :mono:

Discuss.

When I find the time I'll write a shader that can make sloped walls glow. But don't expect it any time soon.
