I'm sure this will be a WAD error but it causes GZdoom to exit immediately and drop to the desktop with no additional messages. It does not happen in Zdoom. The WAD is intended for GZdoom.

The plasma gun causes the problem. The quickest way to get the error is to IDFA and switch to the plasma gun. GZdoom should exit a moment or two later.

Interesting. Do you think it is something that you have fixed or could it be something to do with my setup - which could in turn be related to the other crash I've been having (although the symptoms are not particularly similar)?
The reason I ask is that this WAD is intended for GZdoom and it is reasonable to assume (but not guaranteed, I know) that the author tested it with GZdoom and found no problems.
Is your latest build any where near being something that can be released?
