R3D Renderer

I was wondering if the Risen3D renderer, or something like it, could be implemented. My reason for this is that when GZDooM has particle effects they are Q2 style, and Hi-Res textures are still pixelated reletive to the resolution, whereas in Risen3D the particle effects are more Q3A-ish and more flexible and realistic, and R3D Hi-Res textures are rendered at full resolution no matter what the client resolution is set at. Is it worth considering?
