View Error

Upon loading "gzdoom.exe" everything launches as it usually would, as if I had opened normal "zdoom.exe..." the only problem being that the game doesn't appear. It opens on the taskbar at the bottom, the sound plays, and I can click buttons despite not seeing them, but everything's invisible and it just shows my desktop.
I am running this on Windows 8.1, and I have ("brutal19.pk3") Burtal Doom in the extracted directory with the rest of the GZDoom files.
It's a huge kick to the balls, especially considering how bored I am.

I think this is just a duplicate of the 'black screen' error.
