An issue with weapons HUD sprite

Tested with: 2.1pre-892-gfe769bb
Spoiler: GPU stuff
If I start a new game for the first time (only for the first time - it appears to work fine afterwards) after launching GZDoom, the weapon HUD sprite doesn't rise like normal, instead it just appears in its final position after a second or so.

No, it doesn't, but this can happen if you hit some delay on the first frame. Do you have any texture scaling on?

No, I don't, neither texture filtering.

I updated from 752-g7701d54, by the way, which didn't show the problem.

Edit: This can be closed. With the upgrade to Windows 10, the drivers were updated, too, and since then, the issue ceased to happen.

  • To clarify something, this doesn't affect all weapons. Only the weapon you start the game with (in vanilla games: pistol for Doom, elven wand for Heretic, etc...).

So it was a driver issue, not a GZDoom bug.
